The Tajji Diaries: Farewell.

Farewell . . . In mid-December our retired seeing eye dog suffered a cerebral event, initially responded to treatment, but then declined rapidly. She passed away peacefully on December 23, surrounded by her loving family.

Final moments

Good night, sweet girl

  1. My deepest sympathies to you and your family. Our pets bring us such joy and peace. In troubled times, they comfort and protect us from the crazy world outside. Having recently lost a pet of my own, I truly empathize with you. Love never dies, though. Love (and blessed memories) will live forever.

    1. Thank you, and hugs in return. I can't imagine living without our furred companions.

  2. Deborah, I'm mostly off-line right now and I just saw this. I'm so sorry. I know that your pets are family, and that you had worked hard to give Tajji a happy home. Strength and grace to you all.

  3. I'm sorry for your loss and for sure Tajji crossed the Rainbow bridge already. When my Pancho died our pet dog, we choose the pet cremation near me and during his pet cremation the whole family was there and grieving to his loss.
